District Manager

Reporting to the National Sales Manager, the role of District Manager is responsible for the development of Store Managers, fostering a highly engaging in-store customer experience and maximizing sales growth across multiple stores. The successful candidate will be key in contributing to the overall growth of company sales by inspiring, training and developing Store Leadership while retaining top talent.  

 Responsibilities

• Drive Sales and Profitability within your District while sharing insights and feedback with your Peer group
• Recruit, Onboard and Train Top talent while continuing to network and build bench within various markets in your District
• Drive customer loyalty and new customer recruitment by creating an inspiring and engaging customer experience
• Lead with an entrepreneurial spirit that inspires out of the box thinking and shop owner mentality to impact business results
• Conduct effective and regular stores visits (virtual and in-person) with an emphasis on the internal and external customer experience, while interacting with the customer on the sales floor and observing selling behaviours
• Know and manage the business through effective use of all sales and financial reports
• Act as a liaison between our Showcase Backstage Support Team and Stores to ensure smooth and seamless operation as it pertains to launching new and sustaining current initiatives
• Coordinate with, report and make recommendations to the National Sales Manager on ways to increase sales within your District
• Ensure the execution of all company visual and operational standards in order to provide an exceptional customer experience environment

 Requirements

• Ability to travel to all stores in your district (Out of Province travel required)
• Valid Driver’s License
• 5+ years District Management experience with a specialty retailer, preferably Mall based
• Strong command of written and spoken English
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong time management skills
• Strong computer skills
