District Manager

A national retailer with stores in hundreds of malls internationally is looking for a new district manager in the DMV region

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of stores in the region.
• Lead and motivate a team of store managers and sales associates to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase sales, traffic, and conversion rates in each store.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as with local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
• Foster a fun and interactive in-store experience.
• Train and develop store managers and sales associates to ensure they have the knowledge and skills needed to provide exceptional customer service.
• Monitor and analyze store performance metrics and provide regular reports to senior management.
• Work collaboratively with other district managers, as well as with corporate functions such as merchandising, marketing, and HR, to drive the success of the business.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of retail management experience, preferably in a multi-store environment.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills, with a proven track record of developing and motivating high-performing teams.
• Demonstrated ability to drive sales and achieve targets in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Experience in developing and implementing successful sales strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, store teams, and senior management.
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws and regulations related to retail operations.
• Passion for emerging trendy products and the ability to create a fun and interactive in-store experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
