Specialty Retail District Manager

Reporting to the Regional Manager, the role of District Manager is responsible for the development of Store Managers, fostering a highly engaging in-store customer experience and maximizing sales growth across multiple stores. The successful candidate will be key in contributing to the overall growth of company sales by inspiring, training and developing Store Leadership while retaining top talent.  Accountable for managing the execution of company visual/operational standards and performance management of their district.

 Responsibilities

• Accountable for recruiting, training and retaining top talent
• Act as a liaison between Head Office and Stores to ensure smooth and seamless operation
• Coordinating with, reporting and making recommendations to the Regional Manager on ways to increase sales
• Articulating with Managers Company objectives and creating/following up on strategies to meet the objectives during regular monthly visits
• Teaching and coaching cutting edge sales techniques to Teams to increase top line sales
• Implementation of controls to ensure operational activities are accurate and sustained ie cash, payroll and inventory
• Overseeing and managing new store opening process
• Performance management of District

 Requirements

• Ability to travel to all stores in your district
• Valid Driver’s License
• 3+ years Specialty Retail District Management experience
• Strong command of written and spoken English
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong time management skills
• Strong computer skills
